Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son one of Richard McCormick. Her father was an educator at school and her mother as mother at home. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. McCormick began performing and singing in the early years of her life. When McCormick was six years older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency called and asked her whether she'd like to go into the show business. McCormick found her first role as a leading actress in 1964. She was featured in an ad campaign for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in the year 1964 for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the main character in Wind It up and It is Broken, a show in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the oldest daughter in the three towheaded girls in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. In 2008, she revealed in her book Here's the story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that during season five of the show, she nearly lost her virginity to actor Barry Williams. The incident would have happened as she describes. However, the timing for our relationship was not the right one.
